Dr. Jafar Hussain is an experienced statistician, research analyst, and professor with over 15 years in research and 4 years in teaching. Currently, he holds the position of Professor at the School of Finance and Economics, Nanchang Institute of Technology, China, and serves as Director at Xian Innovation College of Yunnan University. He is also a visiting researcher at Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. Dr. Hussain’s work spans multiple areas, including green technology, climate change, energy policy, and sustainable development.
With 17 published SSCI and SCI papers across leading Q1 journals, he has achieved a total impact factor of 150. His research expertise includes statistical modeling, econometrics, game theory, and environmental economics. Dr. Hussain has supervised numerous graduate students and contributed to various international research collaborations, including projects funded by the National Natural Science Fund of China. He is a recognized leader in his field, having received prestigious awards, such as "Best Researcher" (2022-23) and "Best Teacher" (2021-22), and is a sought-after keynote speaker at global conferences on climate change, sustainability, and renewable energy.
In addition to his academic work, Dr. Hussain is actively involved in editorial and review activities, serving on the editorial boards of several prominent journals and as a reviewer for highly respected publications like Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews and Omega-International Journal of Management Science. His teaching interests include Statistics for Business and Basic Econometrics, and he is skilled in a wide array of tools, from R and STATA to machine learning and programming. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Theoretical Economics, with research focusing on green technology implementation and government policies.
