Rodney Marcelo do Nascimento is an experienced Brazilian physicist and materials scientist, currently serving as the Executive Director of DvDtStartec, a startup focused on scientific entrepreneurship and technological innovation. With a PhD in Materials Science and Technology from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Brazil, he has held post-doctoral positions at prestigious institutions such as Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, University of São Paulo, and University of Lorraine. Rodney's expertise spans materials science, mathematical modeling, numerical simulations, and deep tech solutions, with a particular focus on health technologies. His research has led to significant contributions in biophysics and biomaterials, including studies on surface wettability, bacterial adhesion, and biomaterial-cell interactions. He has authored several key papers in top-tier journals and has undergone advanced training in areas like biopolymers, electrochemistry, and scientific methodology.
