Dr.Qing-gongWangis a Professor of School of Energy and Environmental Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB). He received his B.Sc. degree and M.Sc. degreeboth from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2009 and in 2011 respectively, and Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 2015. His main researches are multiphase flow and heat transfer both on ground and in space, and in-situ resources utilization (ISRU) in extreme conditions of extraterrestrial planets.Both fundamental issues and engineering applications are involved. The topics include phase distribution and interface dynamics in normal and microgravity conditions, active and passive thermal control, fluid or particle transportation, energy saving technology, and high-efficient heat transfer technology for compact high-power hotpot for space applications.He has authored more than 50 papers and gained more than 20 patents. He is selected into Beijing Nova Talent Program in 2023. Presently, he is serving as young members of microgravity science committee of Chinese Society of Space Science and space experimentalcommittee of Chinese Society of Astronautics.
